Video Message From NIJ Director

In a new National Institute of Justice Director's Corner video, Dr. Nancy Rodriguez discusses the limited body of rigorous science available to help law enforcement officials decide whether and how to use body-worn cameras in their jurisdictions. To test and evaluate the use of body-worn cameras and the issues surrounding them, NIJ is supporting research on body-worn cameras and its impact on police-citizen encounters (including use of force), crime reduction, and privacy.
