New "Conversation" On Bio/Agro Security Starts

To address capability gaps in America's bio/agro security posture, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will build the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF), a new state-of-the-art biosafety level (BSL) 3 & 4 facility in Manhattan, Kan., that will provide maximum biocontainment laboratory space for livestock and other large animals.

You are invited to share your thoughts on how NBAF can be leveraged to help advance foreign animal disease research, on workforce needs across government and the private sector to address current and emergent foreign animal disease threats, and how NBAF and other regional assets/capabilities can be leveraged to provide solutions. Join the National Conversation now by going to: http://scitech.ideascale.com/a/pages/bioagro.
