Funding Webinar: Public Crime Labs

A webinar will be held on Jan. 12, 2017, from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. EST on open National Institute of Justice funding opportunities for publicly funded laboratories in FY 17. The webinar will include discussion of three programs available for publicly funded forensic laboratories and introduce a new program:

• Research and Evaluation for the Testing and Interpretation of Physical Evidence in Publicly Funded Forensic Laboratories
• Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Grants Program
• The DNA Capacity and Backlog Reduction Program
• NEW: Forensic DNA Laboratory Efficiency Improvement and Capacity Enhancement Program
