Trace Evidence Symposium 2011

Science, Significance and Impact

The Office of Justice Programs’ National Institute of Justice (NIJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Laboratory Division are co-sponsoring the Trace Evidence Symposium to be held August 8–11, 2011 in Kansas City, Missouri. This year’s theme is Advancing Science, Significance, and Impact. The symposium is specifically designed to bring together practitioners and researchers to enhance information-sharing and promote collaboration among the trace evidence, law enforcement, and legal communities. The symposium will also provide unique educational opportunities for trace evidence examiners.
