Online Registration Open for 2019 National Institute of Justice Research & Development Symposium

The National Institute of Justice's Forensic Technology Center of Excellence is continually striving to bring you the optimum learning experience when delivering online events and webinars. To better disseminate content to the growing forensic community, starting on Feb. 19, 2019, at the 2019 NIJ R&D Symposium, the NIJ FTCoE will begin hosting events on a new virtual platform. This platform will provide a better user interface, putting more content, discussion and knowledge at your fingertips.

NIJ and its FTCoE are committed to improving the practice of forensic science and strengthening its impact through support of research and development, rigorous technology evaluation and adoption, effective knowledge transfer and education, and comprehensive dissemination of best practices and guidelines to agencies dedicated to combating crime. The future of forensic sciences and its impact on the public and criminal justice community is a motivating topic to gather expertise in a forum to discuss, discover and share new research approaches and applications to promote the advancement of forensic sciences. The R&D Symposium was specifically designed to bring together practitioners and researchers to enhance information sharing with the goal of moving research from theory to practice.
