Sentinel Visualizer Version 4.5 Released for Distribution

Link-analysis software adds integration with Google Earth

September 13, 2010 – Washington, D.C. – FMS, Inc., an In-Q-Tel portfolio company, has released Version 4.5 of its Sentinel Visualizer data visualization and link analysis software. Originally released in 2005, Sentinel Visualizer offers link charts, social network analysis, geospatial mapping, and the examination of timelines based on a user-customizable knowledgebase. The Professional and Premium Editions of Sentinel 4.5 now provide integration with Google Earth. Not only can locations be charted on the Google Earth maps, users can track-and-display the geographical movements of entities around the globe.

“By leveraging the power of Google Earth, Sentinel Visualizer helps analysts better understand their complex data relationships geographically,” says Luke Chung, President of FMS. “Based on Microsoft SQL Server, Sentinel Visualizer lets investigators find hidden relationships in their large data sets. With Google Earth integration, Sentinel Visualizer extends its existing geospatial features with the open architecture of Google to see dynamic movement.”

Sentinel Visualizer is in use by the intelligence community, law enforcement, and commercial organizations for diverse missions such as counter-terrorism, gang analysis, commercial fraud detection, human resource management, training, call center activity, politics, academic research, etc. With its link charts, hidden second- and third-order relationships among people, places, and things become instantly visible and understandable.

Sentinel Visualizer is offered in three versions: Standard, Professional, and Premium. In addition to the features listed above, Sentinel offers unlimited Entities, Relationships, and Metadata tags as well as a 3D Visualizer, gradient and de-clutter tools, data import tools, and a GUI relationship editor. Sentinel Visualizer version 4.5 supports all current Windows operating systems including Windows 7. Sentinel Visualizer does not require a dongle.
