Today, technology "levels the playing field" for many people with disabilities at home, school, and in the workplace. This section of Disability.gov has information on assistive and adaptive technologies such as communication devices, equipment to improve mobility and other technologies designed to maximize the independence and productivity of people with physical, intellectual, and other disabilities.
