Is There a Purpose in College Beyond the Beer Bong?

Host Ajay Gupta to interview Stephen diFilipo, Vice President and CIO at Cecil College, about how technology can improve higher education in the US It doesn’t appear to be a good time for the education sector. Many people both within and outside of the education industry, debate the value of a 4-year college degree at a time when its costs are skyrocketing and the average student takes over 5 years to complete their college requirements.

A few weeks ago, we looked at how technology can help improve the K-12 space and this week, we look at higher education. We will be speaking with the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Cecil College, Stephen diFilipo, about the flaws within higher education and what is needed to fix them.

We will analyze how the rapid pace of technology innovation is forcing changes in higher education.

However, the bigger question here is… Will our colleges and universities be ready and willing to accept these changes?
