Investigating the Forensic Science Case Webinar

The National Indian Country Training Initiative, in collaboration with the Office of the Deputy Attorney General and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, is pleased to announce the Investigating the Forensic Science Case Webinar.  The webinar will be held on December 3, 2020, from 12:00 pm – 5:15 pm EST.  The webinar platform is WebEx.  This webinar is for prosecutors and law enforcement officers who investigate and prosecute violent crime cases.  Priority will be given to individuals who investigate cases in tribal communities.  Please note the registration deadline for this webinar series is Friday, November 20, 2020 The Office of Legal Education will send out notifications on or around Monday, November 23, 2020. 

The webinar, scheduled for Thursday, December 3, 2020, will include the following topics: evidence identification, collection, documentation, and elimination samples; examination and presentation of latent print evidence; firearms/toolmarks; and working with the FBI Crime Lab.  Webinar attendees are encouraged to attend all sessions.  CLE will not be provided.
